Invite to newcomers to Judo
We would like to invite newcomers to judo to come down to Newent Judo Club at 9.15am on Saturday 26th November to try judo and meet Olympic Bronze medalist Sally Conway. Maybe you could be our future judo Olympian….?
It is only £5 per child (minimum age of 5 years old) for this special 1 hour session! Please wear loose trousers or leggings that do not have any metal on them and a t-shirt.
Newent Judo Club are looking for new members, so if you enjoy it you can come along to Newent Judo club any Friday and receive 2 free judo sessions!!
Please note Newent Judo Club is a 'not-for-profit' club run completely by volunteers and club members. Sally is very kindly helping us with this special event to raise much needed club funds and hopefully get more people interested in Judo! So please come along and support us!

How do I register?
Please register your interest on facebook here www.facebook.com/events/1810314545848686/ or Email us at newentjudoclub@yahoo.co.uk and payment will be taken on the day (£5 per child or £9 per family)

When?
Saturday 26th November. Please register at 9.15am, the session will be from 9.30 -10.30am. The session will be followed by an opportunity for photos and autographs with Sally from 10.30-10.45am.

Where?
The main hall at Newent Leisure Centre, Watery Lane, Newent, GL18 1PX

Who is Sally Conway?
Sally has been one of Great Britain's top judokas for over 10 years and has won over 20 international medals. She most recently won a BRONZE Medal in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Who are Newent Judo Club?
We are a friendly British Judo Association (BJA) registered judo club, which is run by volunteer coaches and club members. For more information on the club come along and see us any Friday at 6.30pm.

Please note this session is for people who have not done judo before, so if you already have experience of judo please come along to the Masterclass session being run at 10.45am on the same day.
